- - Hello! My name is Eryn, and I'm going to be taking over the Smackjeeves management of LOOMcomics.com! Right now, I'm sort of in the middle designing the skins for each. This takes me a while since I'm new to coding and I need to harass LOOM to make art for banners, buttons, and footers!

As many of you know, Vampire Fetish has NOT been active on Smackjeeves for about 2 years. Updates are carried out over at MangaMagazine.net. 15 pages a month.

I want to know how you feel about the situation, regarding updates for this comic.

If we do reinstate putting VF back on SJ, should we leave comments on or just take them off? On the one hand, comments are great. On the other, they can extend page lengths and be kind of a nuisance to some readers. Feedback is appreciated!

We plan to post at least all of Vampire Fetish volume 1 up on Smackjeeves, but what are your feelings on the matter? Would you rather see the comic on Smackjeeves or accelerated updates on MangaMagazine.net? Indifferent? Hateful? So-so? Would you like to see Smackjeeves supplemented with fun materials like short comics?

Now is the time to speak. I'm the sister and unofficial secretary of Loomcomics.com, and your feedback is important to me! Thanks so much!

-Eryn

- @chicken-blast: We actually used to do primarily Smackjeeves back in the day. When we moved to mangaMagazine.net, we lost about 200 fans, and to date have lost around 500-600, so I wasn't sure if it was still the right place, or if anyone would still be reading here.

Honestly. It very difficult to make the call because of Mangamagazine.net's policy of only really putting the first 5 chapters up. I'd much rather post here at a much slower rate myself. i don't think there's any harm in it so much that I almost want to demand the ability to post to other places, albeit at a much slower pace. ^_^

- @AlkseeyaKC: That's good to know. As I said to Chicekn-blast, we were originally based here, but have lost a huge amount of our SJ fanbase when we picked up and moved to MangaMagazine.net. I would like to put here here and put it on pace with the weekly updates, honestly.

- @jade16oni: We are coming back soon. Just had some family strife to sort out is all. We really love Smackjeeves!

- @forgotten_cake: Yeah, at the con, even after 2 years, majority chose Smackjeeves over MM, which we are taking into account. But duly noted! Thanks for feedback! We are working out some family kinks then will be uploading here at a slower rate. :D

- @forgotten_cake: It's hard when you have to actively GO someplace you don't frequent to read, yes. Very duly noted. We're working on this place, just had some major major setbacks with family stoof. We'll be here soon, though!

- @Helix_luco: Gotcha. Duly noted. We're working on getting back up here!

- @Heaven1991: We are working on making it back here! Just had some family issues. We'll be doing updates for 3 pages per week for a while in juust a bit. Had some family issues to get through.

I think uploading on Smack Jeeves isn't a bad idea. A lot of people stick to SJ because it's user friendly. Also leave comments on because most of the comments I've seen on here have been mostly constructive so far. Also I want to comment-spam~ UvU

You girls keep up the great work!

I would like to see the comic on here. You can always have it slower here and faster on MM if you really want. Having it on MM makes it hard for people to read it though, due to them only allowing you 3 or 6 chapters depending on if your a user there. It was a put off to some of my friends so I decided not to put my comic on MM because of it.
But like Chicken Blast says, SJ have an awesome User base here. =3

To be honest, I am a member of MM, and have been since before I started reading comics on SJ. I *rarely* go there anymore. I know they've updated the site to be a little more user friendly, but I was having a hard time for a while and it just turned me off completely when I found out a lot of the comics I was reading there were available here (at a slower rate).

I'd much rather wait for my story on a site I like than read it quickly on a site I don't.

I did end up getting way behind in VF due to it just being on MM. I treated it like a lot of my favorite manga and was going to wait and just read it in bulk, but then I end up losing track of time and...yeah. I admit it's just a lot easier to keep up with comics here. ;_; *is a terrible fan*

I think you should keep the comments if you do come back - they never bothered me much.

i tried using the MM site but it /really/ left a bad taste in my mouth, so, i probably won't bother to read anything on that platform.

Okay, now I have gotten that squeel out of my system I would like to beg you and the wonderful vamp-rape creator Loom to PLEASE update on here. I had such an easier time reading the comic on here and when I tried to follow on MM it became so hard. I lost track of the comic so much because MM made things so difficult and annoying. :( I also loved leaving commments. I got to tell Loom how awesome she is XD SO in the end its your decision but I would love to read Vampire Fetish again.

I prefer reading the comic on SJ but I would still follow it on MM if I must.
I never found comments annoying (except on Cake Wrecks...it makes the site load so slow but I digress :P). I enjoy reading what other people have to say about the comic. The comments are one reason webcomics are so interesting. You can't just walk into a comic store and comment an X-Men page you like. The comments provide feedback from the author/management, amusing banter, and they give a sense of comic-community and support. And Loom should have many wonderful comments to read!

Please do!! I got confused by the MM site and thought only chapter 1 was available since it stopped at page 50 XD

I had to join to read more chapters, but now the site wants me to pay to read the rest! Very unfair. I don't care if updates are slower on here; at least it's free and this site is a lot easier to navigate!

I really do enjoy reading this comic, it's epic and hilarious!! :)
